Valentine Shakers

I needed a quick Valentine times 5 for my coworkers.  I had planned on making some sweet treats.  I even have the candy.  Time grew short and I found the stop at Starbucks to be much faster!  I wanted to dress up my gift cards so I made five Valentine themed shaker holders.  These are very similar to the shakers I made for Christmas.  You can see those here.

I finished off the back with a little pun...Working with you is a latte fun.

I like how you roll sushi cards

I recently purchased the Lawn Fawn stamp set Let's Roll.  It is a fun sushi set I wanted to use to make cards for my family and friends who love sushi.

I made several cards using these stamps.  I started by stamping and coloring several of each image with Spectrum Noir markers onto one page.  Once I finished I sent them through the direct cut feature of my Scan N Cut and let the machine do all the work.

I really wanted to keep the cards simple and all on white. I finished several cards by stamping the sentiment and adding a boarder to box in the focus of the card.

A few of the cards I boxed in by making this dashed line.  There is a lot of combinations I was able to create.  I think next time I will trying coming up with some different sushi themed sentiments to use.

Punny Valentines

I love a good pun.  Valentine's Day seems to bring out my love of puns.  Today I have a set of  Valentines I made that feature some fun puns.

All of my cards are 4x4 and feature a quick watercolor wash I applied.  I stamped and colored with various Stampin' Up stamp sets I have.  The insides are finished with a Happy Valentine's Day sentiment.

You've Got Mail Valentines

I am at a scrapbook retreat this weekend.  I have spent the last 3 days stamping and altering things.  Tonight I am going to share the mailbox Valentines I made featuring the Lawn Fawn set You've Got Mail.

I started by stamping all my pieces and coloring them.  I couldn't decide on a color for the mailboxes so they varied in grays and blue. you have mail

After I finished coloring all the pieces with my Spectrum Noir markers I ran the stamped, colored pieces through my scan n cut and let the machine do all the hard work for me.

Finally I popped the pieces, added the airmail boarder and the sentiment.
