It has been a while since I posted. We have had a very busy summer and the school year has been challenging for me! I did get to attend a scrapbook retreat after Labor Day so now my creative mojo has been rejuvenated.
I want to share a layout from when my brother graduated from college. I don't scrapbook in order. Doing this has its drawbacks--like trying to remember details, fitting things in the album, etc. The advantages are being able to remember old times, using products I may not get to (like graduation) that are new, and when I get on a kick like a favorite font or style it gets spread out through my albums.
On to my layout. The colors are dark and did not photograph well. The letters pop much better in real life than they do in this photo.
I have been using this block of smaller photos a lot lately. I like that I can fit a bunch of pictures on a page. It is especially nice when I want to feature pictures but have no need to tell about the pictures.
Sometimes I forget about tools I have like my nesting dies. They make a quick and easy journaling block.
