Fishing Father's Day Card

This is my first post and the first time I've tried one of these little box cards. The card looks like a diorama of sorts. I used one of the clear boxes meant for holding a set of note cards. The fishing pole and fish came from the doll house section in Hobby Lobby (I saw a lot of other items that I plan to use in the future!)

I stamped the background piece with the watercolors mini stamp from Stampin' Up! in true tyme. I also stamped "grass" on another piece of paper and cut it down in a small wave. This small piece was adhered to the front of the box.
The sky is made using a scalloped circle and sponge. I sponged buckaroo blue around the scallop to get the look of sky.
The patterned paper is by wild asparagus.

We haven't celebrated Father's Day with my dad yet as we are headed to Missouri in the morning. I hope he is as impressed with my card as I was!
